Remodeling has a lot of moving parts, which we know can cause additional confusion and stress. We believe ongoing project communication is key to reducing that confusion and stress. Here is an overview about how our process works:

Get in touch with us and schedule an appointment, we will meet you at your home and make sure we're a good fit! During the appointment we will be diving into your vision, we will talk about your budget, schedule and what you can expect from us. We will provide you with a range of cost for your project and a folder full of useful information to help you understand not only who we are, but how we work.

The Design Agreement  

Prior to entering into a Contract together, there will be a pre-construction process. The pre-construction process requires a deposit and will be handled with what we call a ‘Professional Services Agreement’ (PSA). During the PSA, we will be moving forward in creating your vision. Some of the things you can expect to happen during this phase are a detailed estimate with full scope of work and the materials we will use and sometimes a “deconstruction and discovery” if we need to confirm any unknown conditions.  A project is typically less expensive when a thorough design and the entire specification process has been completed prior to starting the job. A well-designed project is also more likely to finish on time and on budget.

The Construction Agreement 

Upon the completion of the PSA, we will meet with you to talk through your project. We will go over the scope of work, project plan, payment schedule, logistics, and your production schedule (timeline). Our organized schedules allow us to secure our trade contractors for pre-determined time frames which helps your remodeling project stay on time. At this point we will provide you with a Contract that will be signed by both you and a representative of Gambone's CHI. We will review and explain every detail of our straightforward contract.

Project Completion 

During the completion phase we will meticulously inspect to ensure that craftsmanship levels have been maintained throughout the project. We will do a final job walk-through and meeting to answer any questions you may have. We will do a final clean up within the project and anything on your property we touched. We will set you up with a document for you to list anything you may run across after we leave that you want us to look at on our next visit. And finally, all our remodeling work comes with a warranty on craftsmanship and manufacturer's warranty on products. We want you to have peace of mind knowing that the work we complete for you will be done in such a way that it will last for many years.

We realize we are guests in your home and we want you to be informed and involved throughout the process. We will work together to find the best ways to communicate with you on a regular basis so you are up to date on the progress. Any task not completed directly by Gambone's CHI will be accomplished by our trusted trade and specialty contractors who are part of our remodeling “family”. They are licensed, bonded, insured, and most have worked with us for years. They will treat you and your home with respect.

Haven Homes Designed was thrilled to be networked with Tony Gambone and learn of all his experience in custom home improvements. We chose to have Gambones Custom Home Improvements on a clients custom bathroom remodel we designed. Wendy being a designer herself, helped bring fresh new ideas and second opinions. The project manager Ryan had so much attention to detail and was there every day, every step of the way. Tony and Wendy did an outstanding job on the renovations of our house. We left our home in their hands (we were overseas during the renovations) and when we came back, all the modifications were performed as we had hoped. They kept us informed of the progress along the way (with pictures) and kept asking us questions about the options we could choose from. I highly recommend them.

As new comers to Houston suburban area recently, we would like to say Thank You to the Gambone’s CHI for building a beautiful outdoor kitchen in our backyard. Thanks to Tony who spent time with us discussing the project in detail and designed the outdoor kitchen reflecting our desires. As in-charge person, Antony was professional.
